It's so great that mind is develop in a special way that tends to control man activities and feeling, but we control the mind and keep ourselves in the challenge of what we can do or not, the mind in its unique form is meant to be free but through it we can achieve milestone

GRADUATES BEING OUTCLASSED BY NON GRADUATES!

Having read the article posted by Validplanet on 28th of this month on nairaland I
still find it very difficult to comprehend why our graduates still don't get befitting
jobs. I copied out some of the interesting and educating comments for your digest.
I advise you read this and put up your comment on our wall to educate somebody
today
Ngwakwe: Most of those people you called non-graduates and illiterate are
graduate-artisans with multi skills capabilities having learnt and worked with so
many experts and trainers in one field of endeavour or the other. Moreover, almost
all of them did complete their JS3 School programmes and cannot be categorically
called illiterate. I will advise most classroom-graduates to join them in the
meantime and until your luck shines (you get your dream job).
Wizee: Relax, u angry bcoz u've not goting a job yet. You have to b positive abt life,
going to school doesn't guarantee u job bt is an added advantage. Hope u have seen
2/3 storey built by dis so called illiterates colaps! Why? Bcoz they can't diff btw a
quality and quantity. Thats where d civil engineers cum in. Why can't this illiterates
build skyscraper? So Relax
Afam4eva: You don't get jobs because you're literate but because you're educated.
These people you're referring to as illiterates(whatever that means) educated
themselves in a particular field and are the best for the job. The fact that you're a
university graduate(not necessarily educated) does not mean you're better than
those people. It really sucks to be a Nigerian graduate cos all they teach you is to
graduate and go get a job. Your job is to find solutions to real life problems.

WHAT IS PERFECT?

- The quality or state of being perfect or complete, so that nothing requisite is wanting; entire development; consummate culture, skill, or moral excellence; the highest attainable state or degree of excellence; maturity; as, perfection in an art, in a science, or in a system; perfection in form or degree; fruits in perfection. - A quality, endowment, or acquirement completely excellent; an ideal; faultlessness; especially, the divine attribute of complete excellence.
- To perfection, in the highest degree of excellence; perfectly; as, to imitate a model to perfection.
I have fleet of cars, state of heart home in various locations around the country, prosperous business and still, we all want is the best.
when we reach obsolete, then we say is this the best i can do?

What is perfect?

How do u define perfection?

PEOPLE CAN BE PUSHY

When you feel good -- or at least OK -- about yourself
-- you won't really care what others say about you or
about what you "are." When you need to get things
accomplished to make your life better, you have to do
what you have to do to get it done. People will say that
you can't do it, that it can't be done, and that you're
doing it all wrong. So what? You can either listen to
others who are telling you discouraging things to keep
you from doing what you need to do, or you can
"listen" to what you need to do, which is telling you to
just do it and ignore what others are saying to you.
Who or what are you giving your ear to?

RISK A MESS!

To make a masterpiece, you have to risk making a
mess.
The point is: Life is messy. Achieving an important
goal, accomplishing something that's worthwhile and
valuable to you, or creating a "great" situation in your
life is often not at all a neat and tidy process. It may
not be a smooth process. It probably won't be a simple
process. It might not be easy. It's likely that it won't
happen overnight. It may be quite complicated,
actually. It could be that in the process of making that
"masterpiece" in your life, you make a few "messes"
along the way. As a matter of fact, some messes can
happen that are not even of your own making. The
messes are made just as a result of the process of
making that masterpiece, getting it made, and having it
become a "finished product." The messes that occur
along the way in the making of your masterpiece really
don't matter much. All you need to do -- or all that
you CAN do -- is just clean them up as you go. The
messes are simply evidence of the work you're doing,
and they don't detract from the value of the finished
product. When all is said and done, what's going to
matter, what's really important? The process of making
your masterpiece doesn't need to be perfect, neat and
tidy. In fact, the fact that it was a messy process and
you made your way through it will make the product
that much more valuable to you. Remember that the
result what is most important, and it's what people
will remember, not the little messes that were made
along the way to the result

WHO IS WRONG?

Contradictions do not exist. Whenever you think you are facing a contradiction, check your premises. You will find that one of them is wrong......Ayn Rand

WALK TALL

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living
someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma -
which is living with the results of other people's
thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions
drown out your own inner voice. And most
important, have the courage to follow your heart
and intuition.

ACCEPT YOUR FLAWS!

When you're aware of your flaws and shortcomings, you
can change them if you choose to. When you
acknowledge your own flaws, no one can point their
blameful finger at you. You can't be shamed when
you're not full of shame.
In other words, you don't have to hide your
shortcomings. Everyone has at least one, and no one is
"perfect," without blemish. So don't try to deny your
flaws. Instead, take "proud" ownership of them because
you've recognized them, you've acknowledged them
and you're working diligently to eliminate them. When
you're willing to be honest, you will have nothing to
hide from others or even from yourself. You don't have
to feel insecure or guilty about any negative character
traits, personality defects or bad habits that you're
working on improving or ridding yourself of. This same
philosophy applies to any personal characteristics you
have that others perceive to be negative, simply because
that's their personal opinion or belief.
Remember that no one can throw your shortcomings in
your face when you're open about them -- and
especially when you're actually comfortable with your
having them. They can try to make you feel inferior in
some way -- because their intention is not to help you,
but to make themselves appear superior to you and to
make you feel bad -- but they will be completely
unsuccessful in their goal. When you're honest and
open, others can't use your flaws against you. They
can't hurt you, anger you, embarrass you or bring you
down by bringing your flaws up and pointing them out
to you or about you to anyone else.
No one can accuse you of having something you've
already openly and honestly claimed clear ownership of.
You have nothing to be ashamed about since you're not
trying to hide a flaw, and you therefore have nothing
shameful to hide. Imperfections are not shameful
anyway. Anything you've identified honestly within
yourself (and to others that you affect) that you don't
feel good about can be changed, with attention, effort
and work. Honest work is nothing to be ashamed of,
and it's nothing to shame others for

YOUR MOTIVATION; YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

I realized again just how simple life can be if you put
the right processes in place. i realized that me staying
motivated revolves around a few basic things that i do.
and they are things that anybody can do. So if I can
stay motivated, you can too!
If you want to stay motivated, try these basics that I
use to keep myself motivated:
Read good books and magazines, be an information
junkie. Don’t care what people say; you cannot be
successful without reading! I read books, magazines etc
all of the time. I read a breadth of information so as to
develop myself on a wide variety of topics. Keep
reading them on a regular basis throughout the month
and not just in reading binges.
Listen to good information. Get yourself into some
good tapes. Listen to what others have to say. Give
yourself a budget to spend on materials that will make
you into a motivated animal! Above all as you listen,
apply the truths in your head to your life and they will
become what you live!
Maintain a positive group of friends and colleagues.
One of the best things you can do is to surround
yourself with positive people who will build you up and
encourage you to pursue your dreams. They will be
honest with you, yes, but they will always challenge to
shoot for the stars!
Focus clearly on my goals. I know where I am going
and what I want to accomplish. They are firmly rooted
in my mind and heart. Because of this, my mind and
heart are in an attitude of motivation all of the the
time. I want to hit my goals and since they are present
in my mind and heart, I put my energies into them.
Discipline myself to live out my priorities. Most of the
time it takes plain old work. We have to discipline
ourselves and as we do we find ourselves becoming
more and more motivated. If we discipline ourselves, it
gives us wins and victories, which makes us feel good,
which motivates us for further action. If we don’t
discipline ourselves, we feel defeated and we fall into a
downward spiral of despair.
Are you keeping yourself motivated? You can. I know
you can because I have seen these principles and
actions work in my own life and the lives of the
brightest mind of the world. Take a moment right now
and see if you are living out the principles for keeping
motivated:
Do you regularly read good books and magazine? Do
you regularly listen to good materials? Do you
surround yourself with positive and supportive people?
Do you know and focus on your goals? Do you
discipline yourself to action even when you don’t feel
life it?
Commit yourself to these and you will find that you
will become a much more motivated person…..
Upward and onward my fellas!!!

NIGERIA: WHERE ARE THE ROLE MODELS

A role model, according to Microsoft Encarta Dictionary (2009 Edition), is “somebody to be copied: a worthy person who is a good example for other people.” Against this simple and clear description of who a good role model is, with regard to apparent cases of wilful theft, mindless looting of treasuries, mismanagement of resources, absence of visionary leadership, impunity, premeditated falsehood, pervasive corruption in high and low places across the land of recent, it is no wonder then that many, out of sheer resignation to fate, continue to ask this probing question: who and where are the role models in the Nigerian system? This contemporary issue oftentimes gets more interesting but cynical than ever, for instance, when one exchanges views with people in social circles about who in specific terms, can the younger generation of Nigerians emulate as regards what ideals certain Nigerians in positions of leadership/authority actually epitomise. Curiously, how do we expect the children to develop good moral character, a spirit of hard work, honesty, and respect for the parents and elders and become responsible citizens tomorrow? Everyone is pointing their fingers at someone else for the many problems facing Nigeria today. In people’s view, virtually everyone else is corrupt and dishonest, and their own actions are out of necessity and forced upon them by others. That was the era when there were living legends whose great exploits and track records of uprightness in their areas of influence were alluring. It was, indeed, a period when comparatively young Nigerians would want to emulate such leaders’ sterling qualities to build a viril. It is no longer news in the country that many old and young folks alike are getting more disillusioned about what has become of certain people they perhaps hitherto ignorantly held in high esteem until the scale fell from their eyes so soon. Being a bizarre development in the nation’s socio- economic and political system, many people’s disappointments in certain individuals and institutions over the sudden collapse of their moral fibre cut across diverse sectors of the nation’s economy: from the Judiciary, Sports, Banking, Politics, Civil Service, Corporate Nigeria, Media, Stock Market, Academia to Religion. It is sadly, an amalgam of one shattering scandal or another at every turn! In his ingenuous, characteristic manner while commenting on a phone-in programme on a national Television recently, regarding the growing culture of greed cum attendant corrupt practices by the leadership, when moral fabric freely collapses like a pack of cards these days, and the need to entrench good leadership so as to lift the country out of the woods, Mr. Yinka Odumakin, National Publicity Secretary, Afenifere Renewal Group, captured the scenario this way: “A man that has no character breaks down under pressure.” Despite the flurry of disappointments that a great number of Nigerians have had in many individual leaders and institutions because of their inability to demonstrate high moral rectitude and ideals in their areas of influence in our national life, it needs to be restated that there is no doubting that we, consciously, can have many more Nigerians whose lifestyle, outlook, disposition, values-based leadership could endear them to others as role models. This goal Nigerians can achieve when they consciously, are able to track what they do regularly that it is in the best interest of the majority; develop a good behaviour and turn it into a habit; make and stick to strong resolutions to leave a worthy legacy after their sojourn here; shun greed and tempting corrupt tendencies; keep their eye simple; and have a place for God in everything they do. This is because as humans, we can do nothing on our own; but with God, everything is, of course, possible. We all should remember as well that the people whom the younger generation strive to become in teir early years will have a profound effect on how this generation will function when they reach

MOVE ON

…..Getting through tough times If anyone is dreaming of a lifetime devoid of challenges and issues, then this realm may not be the right sphere of existence for that individual. Cheesy as it may sound, but life has a specialty in dealing sucker punches. Sometimes those blows meet us in the wrongest of positions and timing, making us stumble, fumble, wane and sometimes fall flat on our face. No matter how hard we may be hit, how great our loss may be or how much pain we may have gone through, we will have to pick up the pieces again and continue in the race. Has the man you loved with all your heart and life jilted you? Has the company you used two decades of your life to serve selflessly fired you without severance pay? Has the business you used your life saving to start crumbled before your very eyes just in the face of retirement? Have you been rusticated from a university program for an offence you never committed? Pick up the pieces again. Pick it up for this is not the end of the road. When the Wright brothers began to get curious about building a machine that would fly both humans and goods, they didn’t look any different from jokers. They were not educated, neither did they look rich enough to fund the enormous amount of research the work would require, nor were they counted among the brightest of America’in Scientists; they weren’t even scientists either. Even the most informed of scientific minds have tried to build one and have failed over and again; as such when they announced that they would give the world a plane, they laughed them to scorn, it just wasn’t possible. Eventually they started out, facing untold difficulties, challenges and financial constrains. And on that beautiful day in November 1903 after a protracted struggle, their labor finally paid off and they flew the first engine- propelled, pilot controlled flight. But something horrible occurred afterwards: they had satisfactorily tested the ability of their machine to fly and then landed safely, waiting a little before they would unveil it and show the world the wonders of the machine they have invented. In the place where that airplane was landed, a gush of wind hit it, almost turning it over and causing great damage. Ah! No! What a misfortune! Not at this time! But it was the wrongest time to give up and somehow, the Wright brother found the courage to start picking up the pieces and putting it together again. Far easier it is to switch to denial mode and live in self-defeat for the rest of our days, after life’s sucker punch has taken its toll. After the of news Tiger Woods’ infidelity broke out, the world media had a field day making sure that every dick and harry on the surface of the earth saw the complete failure Woods had become. Woods who was a brand ambassador for many Fortune 500 firms saw himself standing almost alone out in a cold harsh world, for investigative journalists visited his case with such full force digging into his covered files of infidelity and fed the world with both facts and fiction. Woods was really messed up, it would have been far easier for him to slide into depression and be permanently kept there until he can hardly m between reality and illusion and wait for the day he would die a wretched alcoholic, but instead, he confronted his realities, owned up to his transgression, apologized to his wife, started over again and today the rest is history. It is even easier to give up on the cheapest of goals than hold on to our dreams in the face of great adversity or even dare to get up again after we have been swept clean off our feet by circumstances or situations in which we find ourselves. It pays to pick up the pieces again, no matter in how many places your dream may be shattered, just pick them up again and little by little it will fall in place and like the tortoise shell, again you will end it much stronger and far better than you started out.

Strong Wall Shakes

Strong walls shake but never collapse, be strong enough to fight through whatever life  throws at you, because in yourself you can only believe and that will give you the zeal to build your own empire.
We all acknowledge the rich and the strong, the fact is that they rise from the the bottom of the ladder, while the comfort at the unstable top makes them feel the urge to remain and strive for the balance.
We all have the dream to be strong, are you away  from your comfort zone, are you working towards making it perfect, you have to live your life for the best till we meet at the Top.
